VBS with Purpose
All VBS programs are not alike! Amazing Desert Journey stands apart from others because it is VBS with Purpose. At the center of all teachings is God’s Word and His gracious gift of the Savior, Jesus Christ. After Amazing Desert Journey is finished, the craft glue dries, the decorations come down, and the snacks are gone, the real message is that the children in your VBS know their need for a Savior and His name is Jesus. And that’s The CPH Difference!

Here’s how we do it...

A Real Theme
No fairy tale creations here! The theme of Amazing Desert Journey was drawn right out of the Bible. After all, Moses led the Israelites on a journey through the desert and Jesus was tempted in the wilderness. With Concordia’s VBS, children learn from God’s Word that their earthly life is a journey of faith to prepare them for an eternal home in heaven.

Easy-to-Use Lessons
Our leader guides provide Christ-centered content and age-appropriate lessons all while reducing the volunteers’ prep time with simple direction, ready-to-go supply lists, and engaging scripts. Leaders can spend more time connecting with kids and sharing Jesus’ love.

Decorate on a Desert Dime
The Amazing Desert Journey theme is easy and inexpensive for any church to decorate. All you need are palm trees, pillows, rugs, tents, and our great decorating posters.

Faith, Fun, and Fellowship for All
We present Jesus to VBS kids every day in every way. Our fun and exciting activities give children a hands-on way to learn alongside their peers. Plus, proven teaching techniques are woven into every activity so leaders can reach every age and learning style.
